On Monday I wore Charles Anastase...
Sonny hates the glasses but I'm refusing to take them off, mainly because I love them but also just to annoy him!

slumrabbit millionaire

As you can see from the photo our next stop was India and here you can see me enjoying the beautiful sunset at the Taj Mahal. For the first time in three days of being in India there wasn't a soul around to ask to take a photo of us (There are a lot of people in India and it feels like they all want to meet you at the same time!) so Sonny couldn't be in this one but I assure you the Taj Mahal was a very romantic place... and india itself is amazing, so much to look at. You don't need to plan anything just wandering around is interesting enough and they do a mean curried carrot!

I'm wearing Eley Kishimoto, the dress was lovely and light but the socks were a chore, even in the evening the heat is exactly as you imagine it would be in India.

I've got one more photo of our travels to share with you, see you soon!

so good they named it twice

After I left my parents to their 'rekindling the love' cruise down the Nile I nipped over to New York City to meet Sonny, where as you know I have a very cute apartment. We had a couple of days to spare in the itinerary and so decided to do some of the touristy things that I've been meaning to do for an age and never got round to. One of which was going to the top of the Empire State Building. Can you believe I've been coming to New York for practically my whole life and have never done it. Let me tell you It's definitely worth the inordinately long queue for the elevator - 102 floors up and you feel as if you are on top of the world! I loved looking down on central park - a perfectly square slice of oasis amongst the craziness of it all and that skyline is still the most iconic of them all...

hop like an egyptian

Hello everyone, Yes I'm back. Hope you've all had a lovely couple of weeks, I certainly did...
and now I can share with you where I have been on my travels!

First stop Egypt, I met up with my folks and we did the whole tourist thing including visiting these amazing pyramids in Giza near Cairo. To say they are huge is an understatement, each brick being almost as tall as me (minus ears!) That little speck you can see in the background is a camel of which I became all to familiar. My camel was called Olabisi which ironically means 'brings joy' because I found this to be far from the truth - I've still got a sore behind from the day trip my parents insisted we do across the desert. I swear my bobtail is not as springy as it used to be!

In the picture (click on it for a closer look) I'm wearing Philip Lim, the harem trousers were a godsend, keeping the sun off whilst helping me fit in with the locals =;x)

more snaps coming soon!
